SEO

Your technical foundation, audited every week and fixed without a ticket queue.

No credit card. Takes about a minute.

The operating brief

Most small business websites do not have an SEO problem so much as a maintenance problem. A theme update breaks the canonical tags. A plugin starts injecting duplicate title tags. A redirect chain forms after a page is renamed and nobody notices for four months. None of this is exotic, and all of it quietly caps how much traffic the site can earn.

Helix runs a full technical crawl of your site every week, compares it against the previous crawl, and tells you what changed. Where a fix is safe and reversible, the agent can make it for you — on WordPress or Shopify directly, or as a patch you approve. Where a fix needs a human decision, it writes the recommendation in plain language and waits.

Capabilities

What the seo agent does

01

A 180-point technical crawl

Indexability, canonicals, redirect chains, status codes, hreflang, structured data validity, image weight, Core Web Vitals field data, internal link depth, orphan pages, thin and duplicate content. Every check is scored by how much traffic it is likely costing you, not by how loud the tool can shout.

02

Fixes applied, not just listed

Connect WordPress or Shopify and the agent can write meta titles and descriptions, repair broken internal links, add missing schema, compress oversized images and clean up redirect chains. Every change is logged with a one-click revert.

03

Keyword and ranking tracking

Helix pulls your real query data from Search Console rather than guessing, groups it into topics, and tracks position changes daily. You see which pages are on the edge of page one, which is usually where the cheapest traffic is.

04

Competitor gap analysis

The agent maps the topics competing sites rank for that you do not cover at all, then feeds those gaps straight into the content brief queue so the finding turns into a published article rather than a slide.

05

Change monitoring and alerts

If your site suddenly deindexes a section, loses its sitemap, or drops ten positions on a page that drives revenue, you get a Slack message the same day — not at the end of the month.

How it works

From connected to running

  1. 01

    Connect

Point Helix at your domain and authorise Search Console. Read-only takes about two minutes.

  2. 02

    Crawl

The first full crawl runs immediately and establishes your baseline across all 180 checks.

  3. 03

    Prioritise

Findings are ranked by estimated traffic impact and effort, not by raw count.

  4. 04

    Fix

Approve the queue, or set the module to run autonomously within the guardrails you define.

  5. 05

    Verify

The next crawl confirms each fix held, and rankings are tracked against the date it shipped.

Why weekly beats quarterly

A traditional SEO audit is a point-in-time document. It is accurate on the day it is delivered and decays from there. Websites are living things: content gets published, plugins update, developers ship, and the audit becomes archaeology.

Running the crawl weekly changes what the data is for. Instead of a list of two hundred issues to triage once, you get a short diff: eleven things changed since last week, three of them matter. That is a workload a business owner can actually keep up with, and it means regressions get caught in days rather than quarters.

What Helix will not do

Helix does not buy links, and it will not participate in link schemes or private blog networks. It does not promise a position for a keyword, because nobody can control a search engine's ranking system.

It also will not rewrite your entire site architecture without you. Structural changes — merging pages, changing URL patterns, removing sections — are always proposed as an approval, never applied silently, because those decisions carry business consequences a crawler cannot see.
